Find Answers to Your Questions
When Should I Book My Tour?
We suggest 2 to 3 months lead time if possible,  especially for groups of 5 or larger. Some distilleries do sell out of the tours/tastings (especially during the peak season) so the sooner your tour is booked, the better chance we have of securing the distillery tours you want to visit.
How Long is the Tour Day?
Most of our custom tours last about 8-9 hours, with pickup between 8:30-9am and drop off between 5-6pm. Specific tour times will be determined and shared with the guests after booking. Most distillery tours are about 75 minutes in length, including the tasting.
What Should I Wear for the Tour?
We suggest comfortable shoes, as there will be some walking on the tours. Dress for the season- a lot of the areas of the distilleries are not climate controlled, meaning it could be hot and humid during the summer tours and a bit chilly during the wintertime. We do have umbrellas in the vehicles in case of rainy weather.
What is Your Cancellation Policy?
Tours that cancel 31+ days in advance are eligible for a 75% refund. Â Â Tours that cancel within 30 days of tour dates are not eligible for a refund, however, the deposit can be applied to a future booking.
We understand that emergencies may arise, and we will discuss with guests on a case-by- case basis.
Will Lunch Be Provided?
Yes! Your tour guide will take you to a local restaurant in the area of the distilleries you are visiting. The cost of your meal is included with the tour, however, alcoholic beverages are not provided. You are welcome to purchase cocktails separately with your meal if you wish. Â
Can We Bring Our Own Alcohol, Food and Drinks?
We will provide some light snacks and water in the vehicle. If you wish to bring your own food and beverages, including alcohol, you are more than welcome to do that.
Where Does the Tour Start and End?
We will pick you up directly from your hotel, Airbnb or other pre-determined location. At the end of the tour day, we will drop you back off at the original location so you are free to enjoy your bourbon tastings responsibly!
Can I Switch a Distillery Tour for a Brewery, Winery, Museum or Horse Farm Tour?
Absolutely! When completing the contact form to book your tour, be sure to mention which locations are important to you so our tour coordinator will know to include them in your tour itinerary. Â
Is It Customary to Tip the Tour Guide?
Gratuity is not included with the tour package. Our tour guides try their best to give everyone a fun and informative experience while exploring the Bourbon Trail. Gratuity is always appreciated. It is up to you if you’d like to show any extra appreciation to your guide.
